CHOOSING WELL
Your size guide.
For fixed-size models, you will find the approximate French (FR) and American (US) size correspondence. Measure a ring that fits you or follow our video guide with a strip of paper.
Measure your finger circumference with a strip
Get some non-stretch paper, scissors, a fine pen, and a ruler graduated in millimeters. The video tutorial below will guide you.
- Cut a strip 5 to 10 mm wide and about 15 cm long.
- Hold the strip by lightly fixing one end to the finger with a small piece of adhesive tape: this helps to wrap it and make a clear mark.
- Wrap around the base of the finger on which you will wear the ring, without tightening or leaving a gap.
- Check the joint: the loop must be able to pass the joint without forcing.
- Mark the meeting point between the beginning of the strip and the part that covers it.
- Unfold and measure flat the distance between the beginning and the mark, in millimeters: this is your finger circumference, not a diameter.
- Repeat three times at normal temperature and compare the results; avoid very cold or swollen fingers.
- Compare with the chart: 5.4 cm = 54 mm finger circumference, which is approximately FR 54 / US 7.
- Check the model sheet and select an available size; not all rings offer all sizes in the chart.
The paper method gives an indication. In case of variable measurements, a marked joint, or a wide signet ring, have the size confirmed with a ring sizer or ask us for advice before ordering.

Measure a ring that fits you
Choose a round ring that fits the same finger and measure its inner diameter in the center, from one inner edge to the other, without including the thickness of the metal. Compare this measurement to the chart below. The French size corresponds approximately to the inner circumference in millimeters.
| US Size | Inner Diameter | FR Correspondence (≈) |
|---|---|---|
| 5 | 15.7 mm | 49 |
| 5.5 | 16.1 mm | 51 |
| 6 | 16.5 mm | 52 |
| 6.5 | 16.9 mm | 53 |
| 7 | 17.3 mm | 54 |
| 7.5 | 17.7 mm | 56 |
| 8 | 18.1 mm | 57 |
| 8.5 | 18.5 mm | 58 |
| 9 | 18.9 mm | 60 |
| 9.5 | 19.4 mm | 61 |
| 10 | 19.8 mm | 62 |
| 10.5 | 20.2 mm | 63 |
| 11 | 20.6 mm | 65 |
| 11.5 | 21.0 mm | 66 |
| 12 | 21.4 mm | 67 |
| 12.5 | 21.8 mm | 68 |
| 13 | 22.2 mm | 70 |
| 13.5 | 22.6 mm | 71 |
| 14 | 23.0 mm | 72 |
| 15 | 23.8 mm | 75 |
Indicative and rounded measurements. The width and shape of the ring influence comfort.
Some useful precautions
- Measure the finger on which you will wear the jewelry.
- Avoid measuring your fingers when they are very cold or swollen.
- For a wide signet ring or hesitation between two sizes, ask for advice before ordering.
