When you place an order, you are making an offer to purchase. Alethos reserves the right to accept or refuse your order for any reason, at its sole discretion. Your order is not accepted until Alethos has confirmed its acceptance. We must receive and process your payment before your order is accepted. Please review your order carefully before submitting it, as Alethos may not be able to accommodate cancellation requests after an order has been accepted. In the event that we do not accept, modify, or cancel an order, we will attempt to notify you by contacting the email address, billing address, and/or phone number provided at the time the order was placed.

Your purchases can only be returned or exchanged in accordance with our Refund Policy.

You declare and warrant that your purchases are for your personal or domestic use and not for commercial resale or export.

SECTION 4 – PRICE AND BILLING

Prices are listed in euros. The applicable price is the one displayed and accepted at the time of ordering; subsequent price changes do not apply to orders already placed. The company's VAT status is specified in the General Terms and Conditions of Sale. The total amount payable and any applicable fees are presented before final order confirmation. No additional charges not accepted by the customer will be added after the order is confirmed.

The prices displayed in our online stores may differ from the prices offered in physical stores or in online stores or other stores operated by third parties. The preparation, shipping, and delivery procedures are described in our Shipping Policy. The dates or deadlines presented to the customer at the time of ordering apply to that order. In the event of a delay or difficulty in delivery, Aléthos-Verités remains the customer's point of contact, and the rights provided by applicable regulations remain fully applicable. When delivery is arranged by Aléthos-Verités, the risk of loss or damage remains with the seller until the goods are physically taken into possession by the customer or a third party designated by the customer, other than the carrier. If the customer independently chooses a carrier other than those offered by Aléthos-Verités, the specific legal rules applicable to that situation apply.

Alethos is powered by Shopify, which allows us to provide you with the Services. However, all sales and purchases you make in our Store are made directly with Alethos. By using the Services, you acknowledge and agree that Shopify is not responsible for any aspect of sales between you and Alethos, including any harm, damage, or loss arising from the products and services purchased. You hereby expressly release Shopify and its affiliates from any and all claims, damages, and liabilities arising out of or relating to your purchases and transactions with Alethos.

We will notify you of any compensable claim, it being understood that a failure to notify you promptly will not release you from your obligations unless you suffer significant harm. We may control the defense and settlement of such a claim at your expense, including the selection of counsel, but we will not settle a claim requiring non-monetary obligations from you without your consent (which must not be unreasonably withheld). You will cooperate in the defense of compensable claims, including by providing relevant documentation.

In the event of a dispute, an amicable resolution will be sought. Failing that, the consumer may bring the matter before the competent court in accordance with applicable legal rules.
